The Ventura Group Awarded Placement on Alliant SB
December 18th, 2008
On December 18th, 2008 the General Services Administration (GSA) identified The Ventura Group, Inc (Ventura) as one of a select group
of awardees with access to the Alliant Small Business contract. According to the GSA the information technology government-wide
acquisition contract (GWAC) is worth an estimated $15 billion over the five-year base period and the five additional option years and it is an indefinite-delivery,
indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) vehicle. With this award Ventura will be able to compete with some of the best companies in industry to
provide high level services to the Federal marketplace. At $15 billion the sheer size of this vehicle nearly matches the largest
such contact in use at GSA, the $17 billion Schedule 70.
Ventura President Mike Sierra made the following remarks to accompany the announcement:
The award of Alliant to Ventura is in recognition of the value we have been able to provide our Government customers
over the last decade and we look forward to the opportunity bring a new level of excellence and professionalism to
the services provided to the hard working men and women of the Federal marketplace. We are confident that our
sterling reputation and high caliber processes and personnel will result in a lasting utilization of our services
by the GSA community in the years to come.
The Alliant SB vehicle will be in place until 2014.
