The Ventura Group Awarded IT70 Contract Schedules from GSA
September 19th, 2007
Ashburn, VA, Sept. 19, 2007-Today, The Ventura Group, Inc., announced that it is among a
select group of small businesses permitted to sell their goods and services via the United States
General Services Administration's (GSA) Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 purchasing program.
According to its website, the IT Schedule 70 program was established by the GSA to assist federal
government agencies with their procurement of IT products, services, and solutions. When purchasing
from IT Schedule 70, government agencies are assured that the GSA has determined pricing to be fair and
reasonable, and that all schedule contracts have been awarded in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
IT Schedule 70 also reduces administrative time, eases the ordering process, and provides a wide selection of
commercial items, with over 4 million commercial items available. Access to the IT Schedule 70 programs will
assist the Ventura Group by streamlining the purchasing processes, and by opening the doors to an
increased number of government procurement opportunities.
